Who are we?
For King and Country Foundation is a faith-based non-profit organization seeking to equip student-athletes in developing nations by providing access to facilities and programs of training and formation. Much like Nehemiah, who returned to Jerusalem to rebuild both the physical and spiritual walls of the city, For King and Country Foundation is charged to be a wall builder by supporting holistic youth development through education, athletics and faith. Nehemiah built a literal wall to protect, mobilize and lead to the flourishing of his people. We endeavor to build a symbolic wall towards the same goal. It is our duty to, figuratively, rebuild the walls of developing countries with youth as the catalyst.
Huey Newton said, “the revolution has always been in the hands of the young. The young always inherit the revolution.” We believe that young people are an integral piece to the development and transformation of developing nations. Supporting them to excel in education and athletics will give them the tools, skills and opportunities towards careers, livelihoods and overall improved socio-economic status. Encouraging their spiritual wellness through Kingdom principles will result in a culture of change agents that have faith which leads to action, fighting for justice in their communities. We are the builders of the wall, we are the champions of the youth…
To empower youth to become civically engaged, faith-filled student-athletes.
To see Kingdom-led community transformation through holistic youth development.
